About WOPA                      Latest News

The Wimbledon Old Players Assocation (WOPA) is a not for profit organisation, allowing former Wimbledon FC and AFC Wimbledon players to stay in touch with one another, whilst keeping them aware of events happening at AFC Wimbledon and throughout the community of Wimbledon.

WOPA membership is free and is open to all former Wimbledon FC and AFC Wimbledon players and managers.

One of WOPA’s functions is to provide the players for the new AFC Wimbledon Masters team.

WOPA was set up by the Wimbledon Independent Supporters Association (WISA) as part of its campaign to reclaim the history and honours of Wimbledon FC for AFC Wimbledon and/or the Community of Wimbledon.  WISA are assisted by Nine Consultancy, a crisis management consultancy run by Glenn Mulcaire, the scorer of AFC Wimbledon’s first goal in July 2002.
