Dons Trust Elections - Questionnaire 2008

Are you a member of WISA? If not, why not?

John Ivers

I am not, but was a couple of years ago. I originally thought that WISA was a little more militant than I would wish to be associated with, but I am aware that this has helped with specific issues. (The return of the Patrimony being the most significant) The reason I am not is that I am currently Unemployed, receiving Incapacity Benefit, which leads to limited finances and therefore I think being a member of The Dons Trust is more important.

Dean Parsons

I have been in the past, but am not currently, to be honest when Wisa agreed to allow Franchise into the FSF in return for honours, I got a little disheartened, I personally felt this was giving franchise acceptance, although seeing the honours back in the Civic centre, is very humbling indeed, and may make me rethink, and start up my membership again.

Aideen Rochford

No, when my membership expired shortly after the formation of AFCW, i didnt renew, as i didn't see that WISA was offering anything that the Trust couldnt provide already, or that i got by also being a member of the FSF.

Q15

Do you think the aim of regaining a league place within the next 6/7 years is realistic, or should the timetable be more relaxed?
