I presently commit several hours every day to Dons Trust duties. I am responsible for dealing with all the enquiries that are emailed to info@thedonstrust.org whatever the nature. I also deal with enquiries which are sent my post to the DT PO Box. I also have the DT phoneline and answer all the enquiries that are phoned in. I deal with many of the fundraising activities and as chair am involved in all the facets of the organisation. Liaising with all the working group chairs, providing advice and assistance and agreeing the objectives of the groups – this together with the many meetings I attend in my Trust capacity means that I can easily commit 130 to 150 hours a month. |

At the moment being Club Secretary and committee member for the Ladies is taking around 20 hours a week (which is I consider a DT activity). The DT board work, Legal and Constitutional group work along with various additional activities adds at least a further 20 hours a week. Elected or not I plan to continue with the ‘Ladies' and L & C and ad-hoc work. If not elected, the DT board activities would not be possible but I'm sure the time could be used for other activities. So, on a monthly basis I would say at least 150-180 hours a month. |

I believe it is essential Board members are able to show high commitment to the causes of the Trust to ensure it continues to function correctly although I appreciate other candidates may not able to commit so much time due to work commitments. |

It is difficult to quantify the amount of time that I can commit. I work full-time as a Senior Economist, which involves 35 hours per week but little or no overtime. I also work as an unpaid steward on all AFC Wimbledon home matchdays and also for some away games. I am young and single with few ties outside of work, and I am both willing and able to devote a significant amount of my spare time to Dons Trust duties. |

I currently spend around 15 - 20 hours per week (often more) on DT related activities and have done since October 2001 when I was part of the original group that formed the Trust. That time goes on a number of activities, the Community Football Scheme and Youth teams that I head up on behalf of the Trust I have mentioned in my manifesto, but it has also included:
Managing the Board email group and supporting less IT literate board members.
Arranging Data Protection cover.Setting up and communicating with the “DT Volunteer Army”.
Writing articles for Y&B, the matchday programme and website.
Writing press releases.Drafting a detailed breakdown of roles and responsibilities.
Reading and replying to emails.
Helping out with events. |

In the end, however, it is not how much time that I put in, but what I can achieve and I am very proud of my achievements to date. |
