As many of you will know by now, the WISA Player of the Year award was won this year by Ben Judge. The trophy was presented to Ben on Saturday by Sean Fox, WISA Treasurer, and Alun Armstrong, legendary actor and long-time Wimbledon fan.
Chris Hussey won the Natalie Callow Memorial Trophy (Young Player Of The Year) sponsored by Womble Underground Press. The trophy was presented by Natalie’s parents, Hazel and Kelvin Callow.
We should like to congratulate both players on a magnificent achievement.
WISA would also like to congratulate all the players, Terry Brown and the management team for their phenomenal success in winning the Blue Square South title on our first season in the league. We know it was a lot harder than you made it look!
Well done, and the best of luck for next season’s campaign in the Blue Square Premier. We will be cheering you on all the way!
