The AGM of the FSF Southern Division will take place at the Old Star Public House, Westminster, 66 Broadway, Westminster, London, SW1H 0DB on Sunday 19th April 2009. The meeting will start at 12.00 noon and a working lunch will be provided.
Topics for discussion at the Southern meeting will include:
“Team GB” – is it a good idea?
Do we have too many professional teams? If they can’t pay their way, should they be forced to fold or merge?
The season so far - what have been your highs and lows, your heroes and villains?
Spreading the word – what would attract people to a London evening open meeting?
Nominations are also invited for the following posts: chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, treasurer, national delegate (one position), pyramid surveillance officer.
The Old Star Public House is on the corner of Broadway and Queen Anne’s Gate and opposite St James’s Park Tube Station (Circle and District Lines). There is some off-street parking (free on Sundays) in nearby streets. We will be in the upstairs function room.
The FSF are always keen to see new faces at meetings, and the meeting is open to members and non-members alike.
Contact Julie Beattie if you have any queries or nominations.
