An outrageous name for a campaign?
Well, not half as outrageous as the Premier League’s plan to play an extra game per season on foreign soil.
The Football Supporters Federation has launched a campaign to ensure that this disgraceful plan is knocked on the head as soon as possible.
Many football fans have asked the FSF to organise marches, boycotts and publicity stunts so that the people who run football at the top level are left in no doubt about the strength of feeling on this issue. Open meetings are now being held around the country to get ideas from you, the football fans, on what you want to do to fight this abominable proposal, as well as discuss all other football issues which directly affect football supporters.
The Southern Region meeting – which covers AFC Wimbledon – will be held on Monday, 18th February at 7.30 p.m. at the Friends’ Meeting House, 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ. The Friends’ Meeting House is opposite Euston railway and Tube station, on the other side of the main Euston Road.
All football supporters are welcome, whether or not you’re a member of the FSF.
Remember, the game belongs to us, the fans, not to faceless moneymen out to line their pockets. So come along and make your views heard!
